T-Mobile Galaxy S5 OTA update to G900TUVU1BNF6 add VoLTE support

T-Mobile  now brings the VoLTE support for Galaxy S5 G900T, as the U.S. carrier has officially rolled out  the new 4.4.2 KitKat update that jump up to build version G900TUVU1BNF6. The G900TUVU1BNF6 brings some new features, system improvements and  the VoLTE support that allows users to connect to the voice over LTE  coverage scattered all throughout the country.  The  VoLTE connections is now available in a total of fifteen markets,  according to T-Mobile's release note.

The update has been rolled out via OTA update and while other users can see the update yet can also download via Samsung Kies.

Beginning June 19 after 5 p.m. PST the Samsung Galaxy S 5 will have a software update to Android 4.4.2/Baseband G900TUVU1BNF6 that turn on VoLTE services via OTA over Wi-Fi in available VoLTE markets only. Sprint Galaxy S5 4.4.2 OTA update G900PVPU1ANE5 enable WI-FI calling support

Sprint has rolled out another software on Sprint Sprint Galaxy S5 (G900P), the update is still packed in 4.4.2 KitKat and it will bumps the software build version to  G900PVPU1ANE5. The update brings the Wi-Fi calling support and there are no any other new features mentioned according to the released keynotes. The changelog is absolutely short, as the Wi-Fi calling is the only item you may see on the list.

The Wi-Fi calling hasn't been enabled on previous 4.4.2 update build G900PVPU1AND2, due to this some users had been requesting this feature and have waited patiently and so finally Sprint have put itinto action.  So there it goes you may check this update as it's a nice feature, and surely everyone will be happy to seeing that it actually arrive.

According to some folks who already received the new 4.4.2 G900PVPU1ANE5 says that also fixes some issues they have faced before such as the LTE.  Some difficulties on getting a reliable LTE signal at home has now being resolved as some people Galaxy S5 didn't have all the spark bands enabled by default but some did and this update ensures all but Band 3  are enabled also.

Galaxy S5 Android 4.4.3 Update Will Arrive This Month

As we have seen the Android 4.4.3 update that has took in action after Google has officially started to pushed it on the Google Nexus and the Play Edition Devices. While other Android smartphones makers like Motorola has also rolled out the 4.4.3 update on its Moto G line-ups, including the Moto E, Moto G, and Moto X. - Enable USB debugging from your phone’s settings. Go to Settings > About device > Look for the build number, and tick that  build number for 7-times until a pop-up message says ‘Congratulations you are now a developer’ .
- Do a “Hard Reset” if you have a lot of 3rd party applications installed from your phone, this is useful to gain a smooth flashing. (Just make sure that you already back up all your important files before resetting your device.
- Ensure that KIES is closed and not running in the system tray! Kies will interrupt and doesn’t like Odin, it will block you from flashing.

Extract the downloaded G900FXXU1ANE2 stock firmware

You need to extract the downloaded file which is packed in zip or rar files, so that you’ll get the tar.md5 file.

Run and Configure Odin

Run Odin downloader Odin3_v3.09 on your PC desktop. Watch out the check-boxes options on the right top of Odin, ensure that the ‘RE-PARTITION’ is unchecked, only  the ‘AUTO-REBOOT and ‘F.RESET TIME’ checkboxes are both remained checked.

Reboot your Galaxy S5 into Download Mode

To reboot the Galaxy S5 into  download mode , you need to turn the power off.  After it completely shut off,  just  press and hold the Volume Down key,  Home button and the PowerON/OFF button simultaneously.

You should then prompted into a warning screen and asking you  to press volume up if you want to continue or volume down to cancel, just simply press volume up to get into download mode. The download mode then displays an Android robot and say’s “Downloading.. Do not turn off target!!”

Connect your Phone to PC or Laptop

Once you already reboot the phone in download mode,  simply connect the phone to your PC or laptop USB.
In Odin window – the ID:COM box will turn to blue color and indicates the COM port number and a word “Added” on a log box will prompt you that the device is already detected or recognized by Odin.

Your COM port number might be different from mine. If you do not see a COM port number then there’s something missing or wrong. You may read again from the top of this post.

Load the G900FXXU1ANE2 tar.md5 file

If the stock ROM is pack in One .tar.md5 file only the PDA, CSC and Phone modem are already included to it. Now, you need to just simply click on the PDA button, then browse to the folder where the .tar or .tar.md5 you have previously extracted and then select and load it. ” G900FXXU1ANE2_G900FOXA1ANE2_Home.tar.md5″.

Start Installing G900FXXU1ANE2 stock

Once if all set and ready to fire-up, hit the “START” button in Odin to begin flashing the stock ROM.
Do not ever interrupt the phone while already in flashing progress, like disconnecting the cable or turning off the device. Just wait until it completely finish.

Wait until a word PASS!! appears

When the Stock ROM installation successfully completes, you will then see a word “PASS” in Odin. This indicates that the flashing was already finish, and on the log box it says “All threads completed. (succeed 1 / failed 0)”. The phone will just then automatically reboot, then it’s to remove it from PC or laptop USB connection.

Confirm your fresh firmware installed by typing *#1234# or
Go to Settings>About Phone>Firmware info.
You can also do factory reset by dialing *2767*3855#.
Check and reconfigure your APN settings when data networks connection issues encountered. This only happens if you installed other regions stock ROM.

Possible errors that you may encountered, this is based on my own experience while flashing stock ROM on Samsung Android devices. These are just a few hints on how to resolved it.

Q: I got an error message that says “Set-up connection Failed” ?
A:  Do the following steps:

1. Check your USB connection from the phone to PC,
2. Connect to another PC USB port
3. Check and try to another USB cable
4. Re-install the USB driver.

Q: Odin just suddenly stuck in the middle of nowhere while in flashing progress, It isn’t responding at all?
A: Check for possible program that might interrupt the process, like disabling the anti-virus and closing any running programs.
Try to use another PC or laptop,

How to Recover Samsung Galaxy S5 from Bootloop and Nearly Softbrick Fix

If it happens that your Samsung Galaxy S5 ended into bootloops, here is how to fix recover it and bring it back to life.  Bootloop mainly only occurs on your Samsung Galaxy S5 if somehow you have messed-up from customizing the system files. Some modified system files are not compiled correctly or if it is it might does not matched with your Samsung Galaxy S5 versions. The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes in different  model variants, each model version uses a different approach onto the system files.

When we have done far enough into customizing our Samsung Galaxy S5 such as rooting, installing custom recovery, custom ROM, other mods and even themes. So bootloops problem basically started here,  if someone had missed figuring it out that each and every custom images has a different build versions that fits on each Samsung Galaxy S5 model variants.

What is Bootloop?

Root image doesn't seem to worked with the newest Android software update version

I have not seen this occurring  on Galaxy S5 for now, but it might also caused once and every future software update to come out.  Samsung might also try to released some patches to the Android ecosystem that might prevent from customizing.  So it will also take sometime  for the root developer to find some exploit to the patches so it will worked with the latest version. Like for example, if you have successfully rooted before with the same Android version like 4.4.2 (KitKat) and then Samsung has recently rolled out another build version like Android 4.4.3 (KitKat), so there is an adjustment going around here.

Fix Bootloop from rooting: Wipe Data Factory Reset

Reboot your Samsung Galaxy S5 into recovery mode then perform  a full wipe or data reset. This will  not absolutely clear the root image you have previously installed but just clean  and reset your phones data settings.  From here your stored will be lost, since you cannot perform back-ups if your phone is already in bootloop state and you don't have any custom recovery installed to do that.

1. Set the phone into recovery mode. First turn the Power OFF, then by holding down the Volume Up+Home and Power button at the same time.
2. Once in recovery mode screen, choose "Wipe Data /Factory Reset".
3. Lastly choose "Reboot System".
4. Then it may boot normally without bootloop.

If the bootloop problem still exists, then you need to try to restore the phone's original system files. See below recover bootloop by flashing the full stock firmware.

Fix and Recover Samsung Galaxy S5 from Bootloop After Flashing a new ROM

Flashing a new ROM into your Samsung Galaxy S5 will also caused bootloop problem. This is basically happens when you flashed a new base ROM on top of the previous ROM you've used and you forgot to perform the  a full Wipe dalvik-cache clean-up. To fix this problem try this solution.

1. Reboot your Galaxy S5 phone in Custom Recovery you installed such as CWM, TWRP and or Philz Touch recovery. First turn the Power OFF, then by holding down the Volume Up+Home and Power button at the same time.
2. Perform a select “Backup & Restore”.
3. Choose “backup” first to keep your data files in safe place.
4. Head-over  to the Advanced options.
5. Choose “Wipe dalvik-cache”.
6. Then go to “Mounts & Storage”.
7. Choose “Wipe /cache”.
8. Select Reboot the phone now.

If it doesn't fix the bootloop problem, then proceed to my last solution below on how to restore the phone's original system files. (See below recover bootloop by flashing the full stock firmware).

My Galaxy S5 cannot Enter in Recovery Mode.

If you cannot set your Samsung Galaxy S5 into recovery mode, then the above bootloop solutions will not worked for you anymore.  At this state you phone is has ended into soft-brick.  Now, let's try a different approach from here and try this solution.

1. Turn Off the phone, then pres and hold the Volume Down, Home and Power button.
2. See if you can access the download mode screen and we still have hope to fix that bootloop problem.
The download mode then displays an Android robot and say’s “Downloading.. Do not turn off target!”

If you cannot access that download mode screen then, the below solution will no worked for you and I only suggest that you may need to send your phone to your nearest support centers.

Fixing bootloop by Restoring back your Samsung Galaxy S5 original firmware

Using the stock firmware is an advantage for fixing soft-bricked phone once the its system files has been compromised and resulted into bootloop and any among other issues. This is a bit complicated since you need to download a large firmware file for your Samsung Galaxy S5, but I can a assure you that this is your last resort to bring back your Samsung Galaxy S5 from nearly softbrick to usable again.

Here are what you need:

• Odin3_v3.09 - download
• Galaxy S5 USB Driver  - download
• Download and select the correct stock firmware file according to your Galaxy S5 model number.  Samsung Galaxy S5 Original Firmware
• The supplied USB data cable of your Galaxy S5
• A Windows based computer or laptop
• A fully recharge battery

Run and Configure Odin
Run Odin downloader Odin3_v3.09 in your computer.  Configure these check-boxes options on the right top of Odin, ensure that the ‘RE-PARTITION’ has no check marked. Just leave alone the the ‘AUTO-REBOOT,  ‘F.RESET TIME’ check-box remained checked.
Reboot your Galaxy S5 into Download Mode
To reboot the Galaxy S5 into download mode , you need to turn the power off. After it completely shut off, just press and hold the Volume Down key, Home button and the Power ON/OFF button simultaneously.

You should then prompted into a warning screen and asking you to press volume up if you want to continue or volume down to cancel, just simply press volume up to get into download mode. The download mode then displays an Android robot and say’s “Downloading.. Do not turn off target!”
Connect your Galaxy S5  to your computer or Laptop
Once you already reboot the phone in download mode, simply connect the phone to your PC or laptop USB.
In Odin window – the ID:COM box will turn to blue color and indicates the COM port number and a word “Added” on a log box will prompt you that the device is already detected or recognized by Odin. USB port numbers in Odin download mode starts from zero to  seven. If you do not see a COM port number then there’s something missing or went wrong. You may read again from the top of this post.

Simply click on the AP button, then browse to the folder where you put the stock firmware file that you have previously downloaded and then select and load it.

Once if all set and ready to fire-up, hit the “START” button in Odin to begin flashing the stock firmware.

Just wait until it completely finishes, it may takes a while to flash a huge stock firmware file. So just wait and relax until it finishes flashing.  Avoid interrupting your computer and your Galaxy S5 while the flashing has started, such as disconnecting the USB data cable or turning off the device.

Sprint Galaxy S5 4.4.2 OTA update G900PVPU1AND2 enable camera capture and bug-fixes

Sprint is pushing another software update on Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900P, the update will bump the software build version to G900PVPU1AND2 Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The G900PVPU1AND2 is 41MB in size and is hitting over-the-air or OTA update will resolved some issues like the camera app not loading when a voice call was active, alarm failure when deleting alarms, duplication of emails when moving them one from folder to another, and two bugs associated with the Google Search app and the S View Cover. Note that this update will probably not be rolling out to the international variant, as it seems to focus on issues found on the Sprint variant.

What is a Stock ROM?

Stock ROMs are the firmware that has been released from Samsung Kies official firmware server. AP – This is the software/firmware build number version and consists to a code of numbers and letters.
CP – This renders the specific Baseband or device modem data (GSM/3G/4G/LTE).
This where it contains the default settings of each specific geographical region, carrier or network providers network data connections.
CSC – Refers to the specific country or carriers for that said firmware is being build for.

PIT – the PIT file refers as ‘Partition Information Table’. This is only useful for fixing bricked devices if somehow something changed with the partition table layout of the phone’s system memory. But in normal flashing, you should not use this file, or you may screw up your phone if handed carelessly.

Q: Does it safe to flash stock ROM?
A: There is a risk danger in flashing firmware either original stock ROM and or custom ROMs on the device. Any unwanted interruption occurred will cause your device into softbricks. If it is your first time heard about this method,  it is highly recommended to search more and learn about flashing stock ROM before you proceed.

Q: Does Flashing will remove all my data stored on the device.
A: Yes and NO. There are two types of stock ROM, the wiped and non-wiped version. It is highly recommended that you should back-up all your important data stored in the phone’s memory like contacts, messages before flashing.

Q: Do I Need to ROOT or UNROOT my phone before flashing stock ROM?
A: NO need to root or unroot yor device, but you will loose root once flashing is made. So, you need to re-root your device again.

Q: Does Flashing stock ROM to my phone will erase the network lock?
A: NO. Your network (or SIM) lock will still remain active.

Q: Does Flashing stock ROM will remove root on my phone?
A: Yes. If you currently have rooted, your phone will return back to original factory settingsafter flashing. You need to re-root again to install any 3rd party applications.

Q: Does flashing an operator specific firmware will restrict my open phone to that operator’s network?
A: NO. Your phone still remain open for any Operator SIM. Operator specific builds usually containing “only specific country or carrier provider” logo, bloatwares, wallpapers and/or browser settings, etc.

Important Reminders before Flashing Galaxy S5 SM-G900I Stock ROM

- Make sure that your Galaxy S5′s battery is fully charge.
- Stock ROM packages comes in two formats the ‘Full-Wipe’ (delete your stored data afterflashing) and the ‘Non-Wipe’ (it doesn’t delete your phone’s stored data) but it is highly recommended to make a back up all important files stored from your phone’s internal memory – contacts, messages, etc.  before flashing no-matter if it is Full-WIpe or Non-Wipe,  just to be safe and ensure that your stored data are in  safe  if something went wrong during the flashing process.
- Remember or back up the APN settings of your device. ( This only done if you try to install other regions stock ROM.
- Use a PC or laptop that runs in Windows OS, with a good and perfectly working USB serial port.  Odin will not work on MAC OS.
- Use the supplied USB cable for your Galaxy S5.
- Enable USB debugging from your phone’s settings. Go to Settings > Applications > Development, and tick the box that says ‘Enable USB Debugging’.
- Do a “Hard Reset” if you have a lot of 3rd party applications installed from your phone, this is useful to gain a smooth flashing. (Just make sure that you already back up all your important files before resetting your device.
- Ensure that KIES is closed and not running in the system tray! Kies will interrupt and doesn’t like Odin, it will block you from flashing.

Step 1: Download the needed tools for flashing

Download your Galaxy S5 SM-N900I Original Firmware or Stock ROM according to your phone’s carrier or network providers.

Note! Choose and install only the right stock ROM on each specified Galaxy S5 model number, DO NOT install to other model numbers for it will harm your device or resulting to possible bricks.

Stock ROM are case sensitive and may result to undesired outcomes if used improperly.. Eachstock ROM was built to a specific product code variant. South America version SM-G900I  stock ROM cannot be used on other regions like U.S. Canada, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa for it might result into unwanted bricks or other problems such as data connectivity and signal lost.

You can directly download the firmware files  from below sources. Here are the list of  the  Galaxy S5 SM-G900I 4.4.2 G900IDVU1ANC6 firmware according to network providers.

Step 2: Extract the downloaded stock ROM

You need to extract the downloaded file which is packed in zip or rar files, so that you’ll get the tar.md5 file.

Step 3: Run and Configure Odin

Run Odin downloader Odin3_v3.09 on your PC desktop. Watch out the check-boxes options on the right top of Odin, ensure that the ‘RE-PARTITION’ is unchecked, only  the ‘AUTO-REBOOT and ‘F.RESET TIME’ checkboxes are both remained checked.

Step 4: Reboot your Galaxy S5 into Download Mode

To reboot the Galaxy S5 into  download mode , you need to turn the power off.  After it completely shut off,  just  press and hold the Volume Down key,  Home button and the PowerON/OFF button simultaneously.

You should then prompted into a warning screen and asking you  to press volume up if you want to continue or volume down to cancel, just simply press volume up to get into download mode. The download mode then displays an Android robot and say’s “Downloading.. Do not turn off target!!”

Step 5: Connect your Phone to PC or Laptop

Once you already reboot the phone in download mode,  simply connect the phone to your PC or laptop USB.
In Odin window – the ID:COM box will turn to blue color and indicates the COM port number and a word “Added” on a log box will prompt you that the device is already detected or recognized by Odin.

Your COM port number might be different from mine. If you do not see a COM port number then there’s something missing or wrong. You may read again from the top of this post.

Step 6: Load the binary .tar.md5 file

Single Packaged Stock ROM
If the stock ROM is pack in One .tar.md5 file only the PDA, CSC and Phone modem are already included to it. Now, you need to just simply click on the PDA button, then browse to the folder where the .tar or .tar.md5 you have previously extracted and then select and load it.
Like for example if you use the Australia's  unbranded Galaxy S5  4.4.2 G900IDVU1ANC6 stock ROM, so it came as Kies_Home_G900IDVU1ANC6 _G900IXSA1ANC6.tar.md5.

Step 7: Start Flashing or Installing the stock ROM

Once if all set and ready to fire-up, hit the “START” button in Odin to begin flashing the stock ROM.
Do not ever interrupt the phone while already in flashing progress, like disconnecting the cable or turning off the device. Just wait until it completely finish.

Step 8: Watch out for the word PASS!!

When the Stock ROM installation successfully completes, you will then see a word “PASS” in Odin. This indicates that the flashing was already finish, and on the log box it says “All threads completed. (succeed 1 / failed 0)”. The phone will just then automatically reboot, then it’s to remove it from PC or laptop USB connection.

Confirm your fresh firmware installed by typing *#1234# or
Go to Settings>About Phone>Firmware info.
You can also do factory reset by dialing *2767*3855#.
Check and reconfigure your APN settings when data networks connection issues encountered. This only happens if you installed other regions stock ROM.

Possible errors that you may encountered, this is based on my own experience while flashing stock ROM on Samsung Android devices. These are just a few hints on how to resolved it.

Q: I got an error message that says “Set-up connection Failed” ?
A:  Do the following steps:

1. Check your USB connection from the phone to PC,
2. Connect to another PC USB port
3. Check and try to another USB cable
4. Re-install the USB driver.

Q: Odin just suddenly stuck in the middle of nowhere while in flashing progress, It isn’t responding at all?
A: Check for possible program that might interrupt the process, like disabling the anti-virus and closing any running programs.
Try to use another PC or laptop,

Q: I experienced bootloop or the phone just stuck on Welcome Logo (phone always stop at bootanimation) and it won’t boot normally?
A: You can fix it via recovery mode option, do this:
Boot in recovery mode
1. Press and hold Volume Up, Home and Power button.
2. Use volume keys to select, Up and Down and Power or Home key to select the option
3. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset using the Home button.
4. Next select the Wipe Cache Partition
5. Lastly, select Reboot System Now to reboot your Galaxy S5 in Normal mode.

How To Change the CSC Code on Samsung Galaxy S5

Changing the CSC code of Samsung Galaxy S5 is very important on some part, one important benefit to this is so it can receive the latest software update which is officially rolled out by Samsung. This is basically useful like if you just bought your Galaxy S5 from an online store or just sent to you as a gift without knowing the default firmware of the phone to where and what country it came from. Samsung was using an special CSC file included in Android firmware which are specifically built and designates to each country or mobile network providers.

Now, once and every while when the new software update arrives, it will check the default software build of your device. Yes it's smart indeed, it will check your phone if still runs on official firmware or not. A software update will not allows you to download if it finds-out that your phone has been rooted or modified, this error message oftentimes appears "Your device have been modified, Software updates are not available" or "Your device have been modified, This device is not supported by Kies". But sometimes even if you did not do anything or altered your phone by means of rooting, custom recovery and custom ROMs or any other modification you still having trouble getting the latest software update.







This can be easily achieved when you try to perform a software update using Kies for it also checks the default AP or PDA, CP or PHONE, and the CSC file of your phone. It will only allows you to download if the new software update match the default firmware to that particular country or network operators. If the PDA, PHONE and CSC codes did not match correctly, and if somehow you've see this message "Your device's current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via kies." Well, you should then suspects that the problem lies with your phone's current firmware build that has other country or carrier provider's default CSC file bundled with it.

Though there was this old method to simply change the CSC code of your phone like the secret-code *#272*IMEI# and or some sort to root your phone first then use an apps. Those method only worked on older Android versions but it will not tend to work anymore on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS which is what your Galaxy S5 OS running right now.

To gain the official software update you must change the CSC code of your Galaxy S5 according to your country and or mobile operators (look for the SIM-Card you've been using). If you want to confirm if your phone does not have the default CSC file according to your origin, you can simply check it on your phone's software info by dialing *#1234# or do this;
1. From Menu tap Apps
2. Scroll to and touch Settings>
3. Tap More.
4. Scroll to and touch About device.
5. On this screen you'll see the Android version and current Software version of the device are displayed.
6. Tap More info

The highlighted three letters after the model number signifies the country or carrier product code or the consumer specification code or customer sales code.

Now sometimes this seems not to work on international Galaxy S5, because some CSC files are universal or got the Multi CSC file, meaning it has the same CSC file to any other country. You can simply use the below method to check your current CSC code.

Determining Galaxy S5 CSC Code using Kies 3

You can also use Kies 3 to determine your Samsung Galaxy S5 CSC code. Just download and install Kies 3 into your computer then connect your Galaxy S5 using the supplied USB data cable. Then look  for the latest firmware version of your Galaxy S5 in basic information tab. See this picture below, as it shows you an example of the UK's version of Galaxy S5 SM-G900F CSC code.

 If you found out like that in your Galaxy S5 and you are in England then you must be okay when you want to update via Kies and OTA.   But if you are in other parts in Europe, Middle East  and Asia then you may face issues updating through Kies or OTA on any future firmware updates. So the only way you can retain back your country or carrier CSC code you must only need to re-install the specific firmware build that match to your country or carrier.

U.S. Samsung Galaxy S5 CSC codes:

For USA Galaxy S5 it's been easier to learn the CSC codes, smartphones from  this country are carrier branded and has a unique model numbers that signifies the exclusivity from a certain carrier provider.  The CSC codes are permanent and it cannot be changed from one carrier version to another. Installing an AT&T Galaxy S5 G900A stock firmware to Sprint Galaxy S5 G900P may only ruin the device and vice versa.

The Galaxy S5 SM-G900W8 can also be found in Mexico and some select parts in Latin America region.  Canadian CSC codes only points to a carrier providers and it is interchangeable with each other.  This only applies for those who might got or obtained an unlocked version of the Galaxy S5 G900W8. Each CSC codes includes the default apps and settings to each carrier network such as the welcome screen carrier logo, ringtones among other else.  Let say if you have an unlocked Rogers Galaxy S5 and you uses Bell SIM-card, you still got Rogers default bloatwares installed in your Galaxy S5. So if you completely removed Rogers bloatwares you need to flashed Bell's stock firmware to obtain Bell CSC code and installs Bell's default apps and settings.

But to do that you need to flashed first the Italian official firmware so you can received an official software updates thru Kies or OTA.

You only need to do is find the official firmware on your Galaxy S5 and then manually install it.

Tricks for Changing CSC Code While Flashing the Stock Firmware

Sometimes when you just flashed the stock firmware it will not change the CSC code in jut one way around. The below method might help to obtain the CSC file you want.

• Make sure to recharge your phone before anything else.
• Fully back-up all important data stored from your phone. You may use Kies 3 to back up and restore or through your Google and Samsung account.

1. Run and configure Odin. Do not check "Re-Partition" and "Auto Reboot" check boxes.
2. Load the stock firmware in the PDA button.
3. Set the phone in download mode (Volume Down+Home+Power button). Then connect the phone in your computer.
4. Hit the "Start" button and then wait.
5. Once the flashing successfully completed. Do not let it reboot into the normal mode.
6. Reboot into recovery mode (Volume Up+Home+Power button).
7. See if it's applying the CSC file then wait until it finishes and reboot.
8. If you do not see the CSC installation, instead choose the "Wipe data/Factory reset". Then repeat flashing the stock firmware. You may then achieved the CSC code flashing the stock firmware on the second attempt.
10. Confirm the CSC code by using Kies 3 and see if the CSC code has changed.
