If you have just gotten into trouble such as "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING" on your T-Mobile Galaxy S6  G920T, you are not alone. So the only way to fix it is by reinstalling the original and official Android 5.1.1 firmware update.

This approach is technically what we've used to fully unroot the T-Mobile Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T).  It is the proven and very effective method and had been used even before the Galaxy S6 exist. Doing so will restore the entire Android 5.1.1 firmware build and wipes out any modification that has been made onto your Galaxy S6. So check it out and follow the step-by-step  guide below.

Step 1: Grab the necessary tools

Just make sure to grab the Android 5.1.1 stock firmware for Galaxy S6 SM-G920T. If you have the Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925T that also showed the same trouble, you may also apply this solution but use the Galaxy S6 Edge SM-G925T stock firmware.

Step 2: Preparations

• Extract or “unzip”  the firmware file after downloaded so that you’ll get the  "Odin flashable" tarball stock firmware  file.
• Make sure the battery is re-charge or at-least still got 60% remaining power.
• Activate the USB debugging mode in the device settings, from Home screen>>Settings>>Developer option, then mark check the box that says USB Debugging Mode.
• Turn off the "Reactivation . Some other Galaxy S6 version this feature is pre-installed.  To turn it Off just go to Settings>>Security>>Reactivation Lock and then unmark check the Reactivation lock option. You may need to enter your password on this process.
• Use the supplied USB data cable of your Galaxy S6.
• Use Windows PC to this process as this will not work on MAC computers.

Step 3: The process

1. Run Odin on your PC desktop
2. Boot the Galaxy S6 into Odin download mode.
Turn it off, once completely shut down  hold down the ‘HOME’ + ‘VOLUME DOWN’ buttons and press the ‘POWER’ button for about 2 seconds until a WARNING! Screen appears. Press the ‘VOLUME UP’ button to continue or enter Download Mode.
3. Connect the phone to PC via USB. Then make sure you can see as phone “Added” in Odin log box or highlight the COM:ID once the device is detected,
4. In Odin window, Do Not ever tick ‘RE-Partition’ , just leave the ‘Auto Reboot’ and ‘F. Reset Time’ mark as checked.
5. Click on Odin’s AP button then browse and load the tarball file.
e.g. on T-Mobile Galaxy S6  SM-G920T:
“G920TUVU2COF6_G920TTMB2COF6_G920TUVU2COF6_HOME.tar.md5″
6. Click on “Start” to flash the stock firmware
7. Wait until the flashing successfully finishes, you’ll just see a word ‘PASS’ in Odin. Once finish flashing, disconnect the phone from PC.

You may wait until the device completely reboots as the until in reaches in the home screen.

If ever my solution did not resolve the "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING" on your T-Mobile Galaxy S6  G920T, I can only suggest you to visit your nearby service center. The folks out there can fix it for you.

Lollipop Update version G900FXXU1POF4 on Galaxy S5 G900F Features Wi-FI Calling support

There is a new Lollipop update version comes with build number G900FXXU1POF4 on Galaxy S5 G900F. The latter is released in Switzerland alone for the unbranded Galaxy S5.  While there is also  another build version dubbed as G900FXXU1POFA for the ones branded and under "Swisscom" network. Noting that Switzerland hasn't receive any new updates recently, so the update might be the special build for the said region.  The update brings the Wi-Fi calling support which allows users to activate the voice calling over WLAN.

Along with the update are security enhancements, including bug fixes and further improvements to performance.

Looking at the build version G900FXXU1POF4 itself, it seems it's quite got a lower changes value compared to the recently rolled out G900FXXU1BOE5 5.0 in Europe region. While on the other hand the G900FXXU1POFA has a higher changes value to the former.

Again, this  update is only rolled out for Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F users in Switzerland and there is  no any other countries receive the same update as of this moment.  The update can be downloaded via Over-The-Air and using Kies.

How to Update the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F to Official Android 5.0 Lollipop

Samsung always urge us to prepare the following important notes to consider before performing the software update.  I have also added some useful insights why you should follow this procedures to keep your  phone in safe.

Recharge the phone’s battery – You should make sure your device is fully recharged before performing the software update. Do not also remove the battery during the software update is in progress. A power failures may cause damaged to your device that might results as we so-called “soft-bricks”. If this happens your device may just stuck on Samsung logo or welcome screen and can’t reboot normally.

Backup important data – You should back-up your important files, including contacts, emails, messages, photos, videos, apps and other stuff. Update version G925IDVU1BOE3 Galaxy S6 Edge 4G SM-G925I, brings global bug fixes, stability and security improvements

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge 4G SM-G925I in Australia and simply called Galaxy S6 Edge in Latin America and New Zealand has also  received an updated Lollipop version to G925IDVU1BOE3, Android 5.0.2 between June to July 2015. The latter follows along with Galaxy S6 SM-G920I recent update to build version G920IDVU1BOE3.  Looking at the firmware build details itself,  it is similar to the addressed changelog on Galaxy S6. 1. Anti-theft, Factory Reset Protection (FRP)

There is also a Factory Reset Protection (FRP) added on Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge Android 5.1.1 Update.  This option called factory reset protection is an Anti-theft feature, which, when enabled, prevents a phone from being factory reset without the owner's Google password. This feature let each user to have his/her own personal space, with an option to install their own apps, personalize their home screen and settings.  The feature also  prevents other people from seeing the stored messages, apps, photos and settings.

7. Notification Tray

A new notification tray feature let users to  save the incoming notifications.  This works once a user receive a notification  and it stays locked in the notification tray when swipe up.  Then swiping left or right, then it is dismissed the notifications.  This settings can be found in “sound and notification” .

8. Parallax Wallpaper Effect

A new parallax wallpaper effect has also been added in Android 5.1.1 update. This feature adds significant changes the wallpaper and icons that brings a live wallpaper in 3D effect alike. Verizon Galaxy S5 Update version G900VVRU1BOD5 now comes with Fingerprint Scanner and Galaxy Apps installed

Verizon is now sending out  a new Lollipop update on Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V) that will then bumped up the software build version to G900VVRU1BOD5.  Apparently, it is just a small OTA update that comes with a handy Galaxy Apps installed and the  Fingerprint Scanner for unlocking Microsoft Exchange accounts add-ons.

The Galaxy Apps can be installed directly into the device by users choice. It can be downloaded via Samsung's website and it's already been there for a quite sometime now. There might have something special on this particular Galaxy Apps or rather than just some kind of an introduction to those who haven't tried and used it before.  But the valuable part of the update is the Fingerprint Scanner which can be use to unlock the phone by those who already have a Microsoft Exchange accounts.

The G900VVRU1BOD5 is now the 3rd Lollipop update landed on Verizon Galaxy S5 devices.  Stayed still in Android 5.0 base, which is apparently not the Android 5.0.2,  just like the ones found to the its successor — the Samsung Galaxy S6. Not only the Verizon Galaxy S6 got the OTA update this week but the Verizon Galaxy S6 Edge as well gets an Over-The-Air (OTA) software update treatment. The update has bumped-up the firmware version to G925VVRU1AOE2 from previous version G925VVZW1AOC3. Verizon Galaxy S6 OTA Update G920VVRU1AOE2 Rolling Out!

Verizon is sending out an OTA update on Galaxy S6 (SM-G920V), that will bump the build version to G920VVRU1AOE2. The release notes seems to have mistakenly typed as actual update got the build version number as "LRX22G.G920VVRU1AOE2" and not the aforementioned "LRX22G.G920VVRU1AOD5".
The "AOE2" update isn't just a minor update as it may seems but rather than a major update that brings several improvements, bug fixes and more feature enhancements. One of the targeted feature is the Voice Call (HD Voice) of which added with some few tweaks.

Sprint Galaxy S5 Update G900PVPU2BOD3 version, Factory Reset Protection added

Sprint Galaxy S5  (SM-G900P) gets a new Lollipop update build version G900PVPU2BOD3. The latter is recently pushed via Over-the-Air OTA update and it said to bring  a  "Factory Reset Protection" feature. This feature allows Galaxy S5 owners to enable it within the device settings. Once the 'FRP' is enabled, no one can easily tries to factory reset the device without the owners credentials.

The G900PVPU2BOD3 is the second Lollipop update rolled out on Sprint Galaxy S5. The "BOD3" is still  in Android 5.0 base, but a much higher changes value compared to the previous build - G900PVPU1AOA6 way back in February.

 Here's what the technical details says about the G900PVPU2BOD3 update:

Australia's Galaxy S5 Finally Receives Lollipop Update, version G900IDVU1BOE1

Finally! Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900I) users in Australia has now started receiving the long-awaited Lollipop update.  It might a long wait but the most important thing is that it has  finally arrived.  Several owners of the Samsung Galaxy S5 has confirmed that the Lollipop update have had started and delivered via Over-The-Air (OTA), earlier today. The latter is dubbed with build  G900IDVU1BOE1, which now fully replaced all of the previous Android 4.4.4 KitKat updates.

The update went out live OTA earlier today for the unlocked Galaxy S5 version, including Vodafone and Telstra. On the other hand Optus also sends out the update and had announced that the update was started already.  You can read this confirmation from Optus community support here.

Reading at the announcements itself, it seems it  could be by some kind of mistake or misspelled, since the Lollipop update is based in Lollipop 5.0 and not the  Lollipop 5.0.2 yet.   But the Lollipop 5.0.2 might be already on their hands and have had just undergone into some kind of test process. Noting that the Android 5.0.2 is already sent out on all latest Samsung Galaxy flagship, like the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge — which is the successor of the Galaxy S5.

Update Thru Kies

The second method is a firmware update through Samsung Kies. You may head-over to your  local Samsung support page from where you can download Samsung Kies from there, and install it in your Windows or Mac computer. If you ever receive that error message when installing a new software update on your Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge, don't get annoyed.  It may unpleasant to those who don't  have any idea of what was that error says all about. It only appears if the software update find something like 'unofficial OS and other system images' was installed in your device. It's either your Galaxy S6 was rooted, and installed with custom OS.

The update won't just let you through to install it, but it just simply warns you that your device has been modified and that where it says  “The operating system on your device has been modified in an unauthorized way. Try downloading software updates using Smart Switch on your computer or visit a customer service center.”

It's precautionary measures from Samsung side. because if someone do install the official software update on-top of a modified and unofficial one will result into a serious problem. It could harm your Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge in no time.  So the best way to prevent that before it happens on all rooted and modified Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, is by not letting anyone else to install the update.  Samsung and your carrier provider won't support your device anymore but instead they are pointing out to resolve the issue by using Smart Switch.

Just make sure to download the Smart Switch that is built for PC and Mac computers, depends of what you have then grab the right one. But before using Smart Switch, let me ask you first; Are you sure that your Galaxy S6 was rooted and or modified by you personally? If yes, then you didn't got surprise though. Download it at once, then proceed to the step-by step guide below.  But if  ever you did not do anything nor touched you phone's Android OS such as rooting, installing a custom recovery to a modified firmware then continue reading.

If you  do not have any idea and did know what kind of unauthorized way was it, and why was that dreadful error message have showed-up for some reason. Then there is one way to find it out, by checking the binary status within the device itself.  This will allow you to confirm if your precious Galaxy S5 and S6 Edge was has been modified or not.

To check and confirm it,  just reboot your Galaxy S6 into download mode.  First,  turn off the phone, then press and hold, Home, Volume down and Power keys at the same time. And you may then press the Volume up key as it ask you to continue.

Deactivate Download mode:
Press and hold Volume buttons (Up & down) , Home and Power keys at the same time for couple of seconds then released at once.

Now, once your Galaxy S6 sets in download mode screen,  it;s now time to check the binary status.  This photo below is my untouched Galaxy S6 Edge. it has never been rooted nor modified whatsoever.  So therefore, updating to a newer software update via Over-The-Air  (OTA) is easy and smooth without any hiccups.

Now,  if you have something similar to that operating system status but yet receive the warning message.  You may now consider that it might be caused by a third-party apps you have previously installed on your Galaxy S6 or either you have some files stored in your SD card causing the false flag to appear.


Alternatively, do try these things first  before performing a software update again;

1.  Try to uninstall some apps that you think that it could be the primary culprit of the warning message.

2. Try to perform factory data reset, in recovery mode. But first, make sure to make a full back-up of your stored data and files before doing so as it will delete all the files you have stored in the phone's memory storage.

To access the recovery mode, simply turn off the phone, then press and hold down Volume Up, Home and Power button simultaneously.
Once the Galaxy S6 is sets in  recovery mode screen, simply select to perform these following  task:

• Wipe data/factory reset
• Wipe cache partition

3. You may also remove the SD card from the device, then run and perform the software update again.

If it gets through, then it's a success story and your journey ends here. But if not read-on to the next procedure using Smart Switch as what the warning message appeared pointed out to do so.

Unroot Samsung Galaxy S6 and restore back to official stock firmware using Smart Switch (First Method)

Using Samsung’s owned app called “Smart Switch” that allows Galaxy S6 users to back up and transfer files but it also capable for restoring the Galaxy S6 official firmware. The Smart Switch is the replacement of Samsung’s “Kies” that can be use on Galaxy S6 and latest Samsung Android devices. We are going to use the Smart switch apps that can be installed on both Windows and Mac computers. Though this method will work to unroot the Samsung Galaxy S6 but sometimes it will fail as depends how your Galaxy S6 being modified. But you may try this method first, unless we still have a the second method down below.

Download Smart Switch

Run Smart Switch as administrator once installed in your computer . Then simply connect your Galaxy S6. Click “Backup” icon to back up your important data first and foremost such as Contacts, Messages, Call Log, Videos, Music, Photos, Application and etc.

Click on More… option, once the backup has made. Choose “Emergency software recovery and initialization.” in the drop-down.

Select “Software Update and  Initialization” tab.

Follow the on-screen instructions that ask you to proceed or cancel.
Then wait until it says Software update and Initialization are complete.

Once your Galaxy S6 reboots disconnect and disconnect the USB data cable. Then lastly restore the previously back-up files by clicking the “Restore” icon.

However, if the Smart Switch method fail, you may try to use the advanced users approach to unroot Galaxy S6 manually.  The process is something similar to the above equation but it will forcefully install back the Galaxy S6 stock firmware.
