AT&T Galaxy S5 Update G900AUCU4DPH2 Official Android Marshmallow

AT&T carrier has finally started to roll out the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update on  Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900A). The said Android marshmallow upgrade came out  as build version G900AUCU4DPH2. This is the final and official release build hence some of AT&T's Galaxy S5 users who participated the beta program already began receiving several Marshmallow update since May 2016. AT&T Galaxy Note 5  has started getting the August Security patch update.  It's just a small OTA update and nothing any major changes, but it carries the new Google and Samsung security patches for both Android and Samsung vulnerabilities.  It comes as build version N920AUCS3BPH4 and weighs at just around 33.5 MB in size. The G920FXXS4DPG2 and  G925FXXS4DPG2  were massively rolled out to most of the European countries. The only differences to other builds might have affect some technicalities to some countries like the G920FXXS4DPG3, and  G925FXXS4DPG3 were sent out in Luxembourg alone. While the  G920FXXU4DPG8, and G925FXXU4DPG8 landed in the The Netherlands, and Switzerland. And lastly, the G920FXXS4DPG9, and  G925FXXS4DPG9 were also exclusively released in Spain's Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users.

Australia's Galaxy S6 and S6 edge haven't gotten  the July Security patch update but it might receive the August Security patch update as early as possible.

Unfortunately, the Galaxy S6 Edge+ SM-G928I has showed no movements so far, as there were no newer updates related to the July's Security patch as of this time being. It might soon arrive this coming few days, or it might also skip the July's update and are now queued to the August security patch.

Sprint galaxy S5 Sports has finally getting it's Android Marshmallow update.  The Marshmallow update is dubbed as build version G860PVPU2CPD1 upon its arrival. How to Update Sprint Galaxy S5 Sport G860P to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

Samsung always advises us to prepare the following important notes to consider before performing the software update. I have also added some useful insights why you should follow this procedures to keep your phone in safe.

Galaxy Note 5 July Security Patch, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, International Updates (07-31-2016 Roundup)

All among the Galaxy Note 5 variants have been receiving an update for the whole month of July.  Many have asked, why there are so many updates that seems it is all the same Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and  it doesn't  give as much nor any changes at all.  Well, thus updates are not actually similar, it is basically the monthly security patch update for Galaxy Note 5  devices that are technically the fixes to the recently found Android vulnerabilities.

How to Update the Samsung Galaxy S5 to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow?

Samsung urges us to prepare the following important notes to consider before performing the software update.  I have also added some useful insights why you should follow this procedure to keep your  phone in safe.

Recharge the phone’s battery – You should make sure your device is fully recharged before performing the software update. Do not also remove the battery during the software update is in progress. Choose the new Kies 3 which supports the Galaxy S5 SM-G900T and other Samsung devices running with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS .  Once you installed Kies / Smart Switch, all you need is connect your Samsung Galaxy S5 into your PC using the USB data cable, then simply run and follow Kies or Smart Switch on-screen’s software update instruction.

For those who have a rooted Galaxy S5, you folks might need to download the G900TUVU1GPE1 stock firmware itself, as you may no longer get the Over The air update as long as your device has been modified – Galaxy S5 SM-G900T Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Firmware.  So the only way to upgrade your phone to Marshmallow is to manually install the official Android 6.0.1 Marsmallow firmware itself. T-Mobile Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge June Security Patch Update (build version G920TUVU4EPF1, G925TUVU4EPF1)

T-Mobile has released the security maintenance update for the month of  June on Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920T), and the Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925T).  Along with security patches for June it also indicated that it included the Anti-theft update to which technically signifies the FRP lock protection. This is the device security feature that requires you to log in using the same personal account associated with the phone before it can be reset. While the rest  are various bug fixes and improvements to the device performance.

However, the Galaxy S6 Edge+  (SM-G928T) has not yet seen any the update for this month but might as well follow next month.

Sprint  Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-(G920P) and the Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925P) has received another dose of Android Marshmallow update. AT&T has released another round of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow software updates on Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920A), and the Galaxy S6 Edge  (SM-G925A). The said update includes security and performance enhancements on both  devices. While the Galaxy S6 Edge+ (SM-G928A) has also gotten its first Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow  treatment.  Along with the Galaxy S6 Edge+ Marshmallow update is the AT&T Video Call added feature, but it also includes some general fixes and system enhancements.

Galaxy S6 SM-G920F/SM-G920I June 2016 Android Security Patch Update Roundup (6-28-2016)

AT&T Galaxy Note5 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Update N920AUCU2BPE6

AT&T's Galaxy Note 5 has  finally receives the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update.
