T-Mobile Galaxy S6 Update version 5.1.1 G920TUVU2COF8, brings Battery life improvements and Various bug fixes

T-Mobile is rolling out another Android 5.1.1 update on Galaxy S6 SM-G920T that will now  bump up the build version to G920TUVU2COF8. The latter will bring the battery improvements, various bug fixes and further improvements to the device performance. Noting that this is the second Android 5.1.1 Lollipop  update next to the first Lollipop 5.1.1 released version G920TUVU1AOF6 last month. This is  kinda a tune-up update to sort some glitches that have been found from the previous released.

The update is pushed via Over The Air (OTA) and weighs around 102.89 MB if the device to be updated already got the G920TUVU1AOF6 update. While whose devices still remained in Android 5.0.2 with build version G920TUVU1AOOCG will take two stages of the software update. The device will take the G920TUVU1AOF6 5.1.1 first at approximately 631.03 MB, then followed by another 102.89 MB to which installs the G920TUVU2COF8 5.1.1 update.

Again, the update is already held available over-the-air (OTA) and now can also be seen using Smart Switch. To get the OF8 OTA update just recharge your battery first, then  simply tap on Settings>About device>Software update>Check for update. Just ensure that your Galaxy S6 hasn’t been rooted nor running on a modified firmware or else your device might get into trouble and failing issues.
