US Cellular has officially announced the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 beginning on September 17. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is marked with a price tag of $149.99 for a 2-year contract after an instant rebate. Early birds who can make an order starting today can also to pick it up in stores within this week. This new handheld device is designed with minimal 6.3-inch 720p display to make it handy for everyone else who wants a tablet and phone in one packaged. Not only that Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is also powered with 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM and running Android 4.2.2 and can be upgradeable to Android 4.3 and Android 4.4.

HTC One Android 4.3 Update Set to Launch this September

Good news for HTC One owners, the much-awaited Android 4.3 Update is nearly coming before end of this month September. Recently, Jason Mackenzie president of Global sales from HTC, has had answers one of the HTC One owner via twitter that asked about the Android 4.3 update. According to Mackenzie replied, that the Android 4.3 update has been accordingly planned to be roll out before end of September.

So, if this good to be true, HTC will be the first manufacturers unleash the Android 4.3  to their owned devices and might get ahead from Samsung that also reportedly upgrade the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 2 on October. The Android 4.3 has exceptionally been seen on Nexus devices, Google's pre-owned devices.  Though the Android 4.4 KitKat will surface soon, so it's not too long before this 4.3 update came around on  HTC, Samsung, Motorola, Sony, LG and among other devices.

Jason Mackenzie officially tweets that the said HTC One Android 4.3  is upon ongoing work and will be available before end of September.

Android 4.4 KitKat New Google OS Launch

Google reveals new Android OS version codenamed as Android 4.4 KitKat, yes after a chocolate brand name from from Nestle. Few months ago there lot of expectations surrounding that the new upcoming version next to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean that has seen running on Google Nexus devices will be Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. But Google's recent annoucemnet has break the much anticipated and long-humored new OS version after revealing the Android 4.4 KitKat. During last year's I/O developers conference in May, they introduced the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on Nexus tablets and later this year it has seen comes to 4.2 and 4.3 version on several select Android devices, including Google Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Nexus 10 Tablet, Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Tab 3, HTC One and HTC One X, some Sony Xperia series and among others from LG and Motorola devices.

The Android 4.4 KitKat will be expected to arrive and can be seen first on upcoming Nexus 5 and the updated Nexus 10 devices. The exact release date is not so clear for now, but since we already have the Android 4.3 seen in action on Nexus 7. Google has no further details to when this new Android 4.4 KitKat comes to surface. But I have a doubt that will began rolling this coming December late. That's just a guess!

American owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 GT-P3113 and 10.1 GT-P5113 will now start to receive the official Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) update. Yes the update has automatically bump-up to 4.2.2 while skipping the 4.1.2, since the last update was in the form of Android 4.1.1. The upgrade comes in a firmware build numbers P5113UEUCMH2 from previous P5113UECLK7 for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 P5113 and P3113UECMH2 from previous build P3113UECLK7 on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3113.

Here are the changelog of the 4.2.2 UECMH2 update:

- Move Apps to SD that allows user to move a selection of apps to the SD card.

AT&T now selling Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 for the price of $149.99 on a two-year plan

Yet another beast from Samsung flagship is the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and it's now available at AT&T with a price tag of $149.99 for two-year contract or $479.99 in a regular purchase. Since it's now an era of 4G LTE,  then this Android device is fully design for that data network connection. The exact display size of 6.3-inches that uses the HD PLS TFT gives full screen resolution to 1280x720. The Galaxy mega is also powered with 1.7Ghz dual core (Qualcomm MSM8930 Pro) processor which already found and were used on Samsung Galaxy S4,  this hardware specification which now fully supports and functional on the latest Android 4.3 OS, but yet it currently runs on Android 4.2  upon shipping or out-of-box.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega also eqipped with 1.9MP on front and 8MP from rear-facing camera which already enhanced with autofocus, and with LED flash. Its 16MB internal storage is expandable up to 64MB.

LG Optimus G Pro is now also available at AT&T for $99.99 in a two-year contract. HTC One Mini now on AT&T

There are four Android smartphones now added on AT&T's store for grab, the Samsung Galaxy Mega, HTC One Mini, Moto X and LG Optimus G Pro which of-course has different hardware specification and variety of available colors to offer. Each smartphone prices also varies accordingly from the smartphone hardware specs, either on one or two year contract, a month-to-month basis, or on outright payment.

First on the list is the HTC One Mini which can be taken for $99.99 on two year contract or $429 outright. This the smaller version of the newly launched HTC One which is also packed in a polished  alloy that looks brilliant in a glacial silver color. The HTC One mini is a 4.3-inches compact design and built with 720p HDPI SuperLCD2 screen, it is powered with 1.4GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.
The built front-facing camera offers a 1.6MP with BSI sensor and the rear is boasts with HTC UltraPixel single LED flash with five levels. The RAM usage capability is 1GB and the internal memory offers 16MB,

HTC One Receive New Software Update (2.24.401.8) features Mini+ support and Google keyboard support

HTC One owners in Europe has recently receive a software update that tells to bring a  HTC mini+ support feature and Google keyboard support. The new update comes in the form of build version 2.24.401.8, which had been said only a very small update and no other changes added except for the said HTC mini+ and the official Google keyboard.

The HTC Mini+ is an accessory for the HTC One or other HTC phone sold in some countries. The Google keyboard which allows users to ease the problem of multiple letters with the keypad input options which occurring on some phones incapability. But this stuff is not available on some countries, which only HTC Sense, Google Voice Input and Swift-Key input.

So, better check it out and get your HTC One get this update 2.24.401.8 in some parts of central Europe, or some get it right to 2.24.401.9 in Nordic countries and any different HTC One hardware specification. This update weighs on 31MB in size and its still based Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra (C6802) New Software Update to Build v14.1.B.0.475 Has Fix Screen Issues

Sony's new flagship the Xperia Z Ultra HSPA+ version C6802 has receive another software update that comes n build number version 14.1.B.0.475. This update has reported that it did bring nothing more major changes but targets to fix screen issues. Owners found out that some  issues from previous software build 14.1.B.0.471 including the strange behavior of screen and proximity sensor has been resolved after updating.

Here are some of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra owners first impressions about this update.

The Issue with the proximity sensor was resolved also (the screen did not switched on after phone was got from face )

Also mine. I no longer have any funky lines when I wake the device or other strange screen issues since updating.

So so nice. Performance is fantastic. My screen issues after powering on from sleep have been resolved with Firmware 14.1.B.0.475.

Those, who might not receive this update, just make sure to check it using PC Companion tool. It has been already started rolling out in Hong Kong, and other countries may follow before not too long this couple of days.
