LG Nexus 5 has Launched and Powered with Latest Android 4.4 KitKat

After few months longing for rumors and speculations derived from leaked documents, the shed of light has come to an end about the true identity of the LG Nexus 5. Today, the LG Nexus 5 has officially launched and now can be seen in the Play Store and equipped with full detailed hardware specs, and that's includes the priced-tag of-course. The LG Nexus 5 is now leading as the top of the line among all other Android smartphones in the market, for it also brings the latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS that is first to introduced among all Android fans worldwide.

The LG Nexus 5 is equipped with 2.3GHz quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU and 2GB of RAM memory, a 5-inches screen display that brings the 1080p display resolution. The camera has 8-megapixel and first of it's kind that also equipped with optical image stabilization. The availability comes in two storage capacity of 16GB and 32GB packages and also comes in two colors - the black and white. The LG nexus 5 will also shipped with different network connectivity CDMA, 7 and 6 WCDMA band, 6 and 9 LTE bands of frequencies, this only differs according to each countries.

The prices ranges from £295 in Euro and $349 for 16GB and $399 for 32GB in U.S dollars, the prices also depends how any carrier providers offered it to their customers, either on-contract or any promos. In the U.S Sprint has officially announced the availability of Nexus 5 beginning on November for $149 on-contract. In UK also starts from £32 per month upon contract. Google Play Store Apps Gets Update to version 4.4.21, APK file is now available

The Google Play Store has now updated to a new version 4.4.21. This update has now added with slide-out user interface that substituted the menu-accessible navigation keys. Folks at +Android Police has covered the APK teardown and  handed-out a quite interesting view to the newly designed UI.

Official Android 4.3 Upgrade on Samsung Galaxy S4 Now Rolling

If you owned a Samsung Galaxy S4 and might have long-awaited the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, you must take a deep-breath by now. Samsung has begun rolling-out the official Android 4.3 for your Galaxy S4 devices. Sprint and AT&T launch the Galaxy Note 3, compare pricing plan

Two of giant carriers in the U.S. AT&T and Sprint have launched the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for those who wants to buy it now in their online store. Both carriers now offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in jet black and  classic white colors to choose from, but the prices ranges according to customers chosen payment plan.

Sprint offers the Galaxy Note 3 for only $249.99 in a 2-year contract period as they are giving away a $100 discount for new costumers who can bring their existing numbers or grab it upfront for $699.99. But for those who don't want to use their existing number to a new line of service from Sprint, you can grab it for $349.99 or for the original price of $799.99.

Galaxy Note 2 Android 4.3 Update is Expected to Hit this December

There are some reports spreads out that the said Android 4.3 update for Samsung Galaxy Note II is expected to begin at the end of the year. The said Android 4.3 update on Galaxy Note 2 will follow just right after other particular Samsung phones, including the Galaxy S4 which is expected to begin next month and then the Galaxy S3 in the end of October and November. HTC One Android 4.3 Update Set to Launch this September

Good news for HTC One owners, the much-awaited Android 4.3 Update is nearly coming before end of this month September. Recently, Jason Mackenzie president of Global sales from HTC, has had answers one of the HTC One owner via twitter that asked about the Android 4.3 update. According to Mackenzie replied, that the Android 4.3 update has been accordingly planned to be roll out before end of September.

So, if this good to be true, HTC will be the first manufacturers unleash the Android 4.3  to their owned devices and might get ahead from Samsung that also reportedly upgrade the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 2 on October. The Android 4.3 has exceptionally been seen on Nexus devices, Google's pre-owned devices.  Though the Android 4.4 KitKat will surface soon, so it's not too long before this 4.3 update came around on  HTC, Samsung, Motorola, Sony, LG and among other devices.

Jason Mackenzie officially tweets that the said HTC One Android 4.3  is upon ongoing work and will be available before end of September.

Android 4.4 KitKat New Google OS Launch

Google reveals new Android OS version codenamed as Android 4.4 KitKat, yes after a chocolate brand name from from Nestle. Few months ago there lot of expectations surrounding that the new upcoming version next to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean that has seen running on Google Nexus devices will be Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie. But Google's recent annoucemnet has break the much anticipated and long-humored new OS version after revealing the Android 4.4 KitKat. During last year's I/O developers conference in May, they introduced the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on Nexus tablets and later this year it has seen comes to 4.2 and 4.3 version on several select Android devices, including Google Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Nexus 10 Tablet, Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Tab 3, HTC One and HTC One X, some Sony Xperia series and among others from LG and Motorola devices.

The Android 4.4 KitKat will be expected to arrive and can be seen first on upcoming Nexus 5 and the updated Nexus 10 devices. The exact release date is not so clear for now, but since we already have the Android 4.3 seen in action on Nexus 7. Google has no further details to when this new Android 4.4 KitKat comes to surface. But I have a doubt that will began rolling this coming December late. That's just a guess!

AT&T now selling Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 for the price of $149.99 on a two-year plan

Yet another beast from Samsung flagship is the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and it's now available at AT&T with a price tag of $149.99 for two-year contract or $479.99 in a regular purchase. Since it's now an era of 4G LTE,  then this Android device is fully design for that data network connection. The exact display size of 6.3-inches that uses the HD PLS TFT gives full screen resolution to 1280x720. The Galaxy mega is also powered with 1.7Ghz dual core (Qualcomm MSM8930 Pro) processor which already found and were used on Samsung Galaxy S4,  this hardware specification which now fully supports and functional on the latest Android 4.3 OS, but yet it currently runs on Android 4.2  upon shipping or out-of-box.

The Samsung Galaxy Mega also eqipped with 1.9MP on front and 8MP from rear-facing camera which already enhanced with autofocus, and with LED flash. Its 16MB internal storage is expandable up to 64MB.

There are four Android smartphones now added on AT&T's store for grab, the Samsung Galaxy Mega, HTC One Mini, Moto X and LG Optimus G Pro which of-course has different hardware specification and variety of available colors to offer. HTC One Receive New Software Update (2.24.401.8) features Mini+ support and Google keyboard support

HTC One owners in Europe has recently receive a software update that tells to bring a  HTC mini+ support feature and Google keyboard support. The new update comes in the form of build version 2.24.401.8, which had been said only a very small update and no other changes added except for the said HTC mini+ and the official Google keyboard.

The HTC Mini+ is an accessory for the HTC One or other HTC phone sold in some countries. The Google keyboard which allows users to ease the problem of multiple letters with the keypad input options which occurring on some phones incapability. But this stuff is not available on some countries, which only HTC Sense, Google Voice Input and Swift-Key input.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra (C6802) New Software Update to Build v14.1.B.0.475 Has Fix Screen Issues

Sony's new flagship the Xperia Z Ultra HSPA+ version C6802 has receive another software update that comes n build number version 14.1.B.0.475. This update has reported that it did bring nothing more major changes but targets to fix screen issues. Owners found out that some  issues from previous software build 14.1.B.0.471 including the strange behavior of screen and proximity sensor has been resolved after updating.

Here are some of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra owners first impressions about this update.

The Issue with the proximity sensor was resolved also (the screen did not switched on after phone was got from face )

Also mine. I no longer have any funky lines when I wake the device or other strange screen issues since updating.

So so nice. Performance is fantastic. My screen issues after powering on from sleep have been resolved with Firmware 14.1.B.0.475.

Those, who might not receive this update, just make sure to check it using PC Companion tool. It has been already started rolling out in Hong Kong, and other countries may follow before not too long this couple of days.

LG G2 Sign Up Page now Open for US Buyers

LG USA recently opened a sign-up page for the new LG G2 flagship.  The LG G2 has been introduced by LG earlier this week and aimed to release soon on all major carriers in the US. In the list US carriers this includes Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, Cricket, ACG, Metro PCS, TracFone, Virgin Mobile, and US Cellular. This simply because some people has been complaining the Motorola X price tag of $199 for two years contract which looks likely ridiculous for a device that posses the specification that cannot even outmatch the Samsung Galaxy S4 and/or the HTC One.
